Bird species to note include a brown parrot, hornbills, yellow-necked spurfowl, crested francolin, lilac-breasted rollers, Mousebirds, swifts, bee-eaters, Hammerkops, plovers, Kori bustards, steppe eagles, Great white pelican, and Northern pied babbler among others.
