Tarangire National Park is a great place to film birds and great for birders. The park is home to over 500 bird species which leave in the variety of habitats of this park. Bird species to note include a brown parrot, hornbills, yellow-necked spurfowl, crested francolin, lilac-breasted rollers, Mousebirds, swifts, bee-eaters, Hammerkops, plovers, Kori bustards, steppe eagles, Great white pelican, and Northern pied babbler among others.

You will need to get a filming permit from Tanzania Film Censorship Board and Tanzania National Park Authority for you to be allowed to film in Tarangire National Park.
