Film Crew Fixers Uganda assists in Press accreditation and Media media card processing for film crew members interested in filming or photographing in Uganda. We do this by working hand in hand with the Uganda Media Council. Press Accreditation (Media Card Processing in Uganda) is a prerequisite to all film crews in Uganda. You can get a media card for one month or more, depending on the time you want to spend in Uganda. Most teams spend one to three months and thus will require accreditation for that.
For Film Crew Fixers Uganda to process Media Cards for your film crew, please ask our staff to send you FORM G so that each crew member fills it. This form G is later forwarded to Uganda Media Council, who will then use the information provided to process your media card.
On top of filling Form G, you will need to write to Uganda Media Council detailing who you are, what you do, and what you are going to film in Uganda and how your film will help in the development of Uganda. Once you have written this letter on your company headed letter, you will forward it to us, and in turn, we deliver it to Uganda Media Council.
One passport photograph will also be required by Uganda Media Council in order to press your media card as each media card must bear a passport photograph of each individual.

Press Accreditation In Uganda
Film Crew Fixers Uganda assists with press Accreditation in Uganda for film crews and TV Companies that contact us. Apart from fixing services such as accommodation, transport, filming contracts, permits, and kit clearing services, we ensure that your film crew members are accredited to conduct filming for the period they will spend in Uganda.
We do this in conjunction with Uganda Media Council who are in charge of issuing out media cards and press accreditation to all journalists. As film crew members, you will require a media card, and on our part, we will send you FORM G, which should be filled by each crew member as a requirement for press accreditation in Uganda.
Once it is filled, each member will then send us one passport photograph plus a scanned copy of his passport, which will then send to the Uganda Media Council to enable then process your Press Accreditation in Uganda by issuing out your media cards.
Uganda Media Council charges for press accreditation depending on the duration of filming/stay in Uganda. Most crews are filming from between one week to three months, so you need to inform us on how long you will stay in Uganda so that we advise Uganda Media Council Accordingly.
